Yes you are right, tariffs do have a history look it up. China has been tarrifing the crap out of every industry in the US for years. Any industry that China wants to develop they slap a tariff on it then production moves to China. I almost lost my job in 12 when China decided to put a 54 percent tariff on the product we make. There has been a tariff and vat tax on soybeans for years also, to act as a incentive to other countries to out produce us. But your right it is all Trump's fault. There is a lot more to this then just soybeans. They are just a tiny fraction of the gdp. People should be pretty happy here. I know a lot of people that lost there ass in 8-12 none of them got a bail out. They had to figure it out on their own. If a guy contracted some a head add 85-1.65 not that bad of a price in the end. Oh yeah consumers pay all taxes in the end doesn't matter what shape or form. Companies don't really pay taxes it is all passed on to the consumer.
