We use our Wii for amazon prime and Netflix daily. As of Jan 30th Netflix will no longer be supported on the Wii... we have no other device nor smart tv though my wife does want a bigger tv for Christmas. 

what is our best bet to continue with the amazon prime and Netflix? roku? smart tv?

Id like to keep it under $250 and dont want anything larger than a 50" tv. currently have a 32" and happy with it myself...

are smart tvs worth it or just buy regular and hook up another device? which is best and costs least?
