Until input prices come down.. Diesel is higher than this time last year.. Seed is higher.. Fertilizer is higher.. Interest is higher..
Your only locking in a LOSS.. WHY would you do that?
The market is going to have to offer MORE to incentive production..
I can live with 4 and 9.50 board price so made a small jan 20 corn sale on the overnight. hopefully it will be a bad sale, I started early last year and pretty happy with how that turned out as a average. If I don't stretch out the sales I don't get anything sold. I'm not confident enough to do huge lots plus Its way easier to sell into a rising market then one that's falling.
