Not all apps are removable.
True - which one are you trying to remove? For example, Find my Iphone, camera, photos, contacts, clock, maps, home, settings and several others cannot be removed. Pretty much any that I have purposely downloaded can be removed. Hold down on an icon until it starts to wiggle. Those with an "x" in the upper left corner can be removed.
I have an iPhone 6 and last week an app that has something do do with using the phone to measure things. appeared I didn't recall downloading it but it apparently came along with the latest upgrade to 12.1. My iPhone is about full due to limited memory and a large music library, This measurement app seemed to come and go on its own. It also showed up on my iPad Pro which has lots of memory, it seems to be available on it at all times. |
