Subject: Question about Excel

Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577
NNew computer. I think it has Windows office 10 in it. Anyhow, the Excel spreadsheet has to be Adjusted to fit my older configurations.

What is the procedure called that allows a person to take an extra long string of text (one that would extend it beyond that of the page width) And make it fit in to the new cells that one wants them to fit into.
It is done by highlighting the cells that one wants the text to fit in to, and then clicking on the procedure.

It is similar but not the same as word wrap.

I had a little green icon in the ribbon for so many years and used that, that I forgot the name of the procedure, and now cannot find anything that appears to accomplish that, in the new software.

What is the name of the procedure, so I can find it?

Because of the storage aspects of the XL workbook, I use XL to tape the vast bulk of my correspondence instead of using Word. Therefore the procedure to which I refer Is invaluable.

Thanks.
