SE VA/NE NC | On a desktop you can go into account settings somewhere, and on the right side of screen it lists account type. You want to apply for futures/options. I think i had to just fill out one page of info and a the minimum balance is $2000. Took a couple days each time between getting futures, then options, etc. They had a few levels.
Just poke around a bit. I never had to call anyone. I do everything on my thinkorswim app on my phone now.
