WC MN | I'm out of beans so I have no horse in the race, but we know we will not have a detailed deal Sunday night. Trump will tell us how well the meeting went and that will be about all. There are major issues at stake here, way bigger than soybeans. Second, a deal with China does not really change the fact that we have burdonsome supplies of beans with another big Brazilian crop in the works and big acres in the US next year (even if we drop 5-7 million acres it will still be historically big planted acres).
We need new demand or a supply disruption to really move the market in my opinion. But I could be wrong and the trade may over react and give us a gift. | |
