There is a very good chance that the display without Basics on it is marked as Warranted in Stellar Support, if this is the case it can not have Basics put on it even if you could somehow come up with it, Once marked as Warranted it is a door stop. If it could be reactivated it has to be done by a dealer and a DTAC case has to be opened to move the Basics activation.

For those curious about the Basics activation it is just like Windows or another operating system software on a computor, without the operating system a computor doesn't do much.
