NESD | A couple years ago Deere announced the End of Life for the GS2 2600 which then caused an uproar thru the dealer network because the 1800 is also a GS2 and it could still be purchased new so Deere backed of the 2600 but then shortly afterwards announced the end of production of the 1800, so the writing is on the wall that soon the 2600 will reach End of Life and the activations will cease and at some point the display will be locked so that activations can not be moved on or off, You say that you are not concerned about the activations but just be aware that should (when) the display fail you will lose thousands of dollars of activations that cannot be retrieved. |
