Subject: RE: Dosatrons

We have had one on our planter the past 2 years.

I was skeptical before putting it on but the 1st year it worked great using generic bifenthrin with starter fert.    Never had any problems at all the 1st year.

This past year was absolutely miserable.    There is a check valve that is supposed to keep the fertilizer flow seperate from the chemical flow.    We were constantly having problems with that check valve sticking open turning the chemical tank contents into cottage cheese.

We talked to someone from Dosatron at World Pork Expo that gave us a few ideas to try next year.   If next year doesn't go better the Dosatron will end up in a burn barrel.     We spent way too many hours screwing around with that thing when we should have been putting corn in the ground.
