Enjoy them while you can. I thought I had tough days watching my youngest son from 6 weeks old thru school years (wife worked off farm and trying to save on daycare costs). In the combine, in the hog barn...working outside, some jobs had to slow down a bit. He’s in college now and I think back to those days, I would like to tell that 20 yr ago me....you don’t realize how good you have it.
It took 10 years to get him in the combine with the alternating copilot "wife"
first few years he was under ,in the allergy bubble
now she just says she is sore if she happens to end up in the tractor |
