| There is quite a difference in Soybean basis from the river and processors in Missouri firming values to my east. All bids are weaker than normal.. but the delayed harvest coupled with more Soybeans moving from the gulf.. and possibly the quality concerns are behind this (relatively speaking) "strength."
Is this "Blue Wave" moving West on this map..???
Baton Rouge La is $0.24 over St Louis is $0.15 under Deerfield Mo is $0.26 under KC is $0.30 under Catoosa Okla is $0.40 under Canton Ks shuttle loader is $0.54 under Wichita processor is $0.55 under Ottawa Coop is $0.65 under
While several coops in Central Kansas are $0.70 under
Meanwhile on the other side of the line.. Local Elevators west of 281 are $1.30 or more under.. almost an $0.80 spread across a single county in some spots..
As of Monday's progress report Kansas and Missouri still had almost 100 myn bushels of Soybeans out in the fields.. mainly in the Blue (better) basis area's..
