Trust me I dont wanna be right on this one.. I jumped in after trump's election because you could see what was coming.

Other than the trade war.. it's been good for the general economy.

Now however, you have incoming speaker Pelosi.. (or some socialist..) the last time the D's re-took control of the house.. 2006.. they ran the economy into the ground.. with their undermining of the Bush administration.

"Once bit.. twice shy.."

So I want to be wrong.. but I'm going with a little Missouri "show me" approach to this market now.

Trump could pivot.. ship commerce secretary Wilber Ross off to go colonize mars..(you go Wilber!!).. work on infrastructure with the Ds..do an immigration compromise.. focus on a 21st century energy policy with the dem's and position himself for a good showing in 2020..

Or..

We could see a repeat of 2008?
