I had the backlight quit on our UD + a couple years ago. The display had an ag express repair sticker on it. I opened the display up and discovered one of the wires going to the backlight bulb was pinched. Repairing that didn't fix the backlight, so I ordered a used backlight inverter power board from eBay, part # RD-P-0368. It wasn't terribly difficult to install, and for $15 at the time, I was back in business.
