South Bend, IN | So this fall I go to cut some beans on some of my rented ground. Landlord gives a couple guys permission to hunt in the woods at the far end. No problem, it’s his land to give permission and if they take out a few deer great. Now the irritating part. 140 acre field split between corn and beans 1/2 mile rows. Hunters drive down the beans next to the corn about one and a half pickups wide length of the field. I mentioned to the landlord who would even think that is ok to do something like that. Landlord agrees it’s BS and says he will talk to the hunters. Thought about it and called landlord back and said dont bother calling as then I’d be worried about pissed off hunters shooting out the windows or tires on equipment parked there. I’m sure there are good responsible hunters out there but I haven’t come across any. | |
