Centralia, MO | My timber ground is a few miles from our row crop ground so during "season" I have to drive to it and see what's happening. Pulled in one day and this hunter was just getting ready to leave his 4x4 and head back into the cover. I asked him who he was hunting on and he told me it didn't matter, he had his deer tag and hunting license and he could hunt where ever he chose to. As he turned and tried to walk on into the timber I told him when he got back his truck would probably not be there since I would have it towed but he could discuss it with the game warden and sheriff since they would also be there to "help him out". I didn't have a clue who he was or where he was from except that his car had been bought in the Kansas City area. By the time he left, he realized the error in his thinking. | |
