Whole lotta bull **** in this thread. You loose the ammonia N but the organic N will not be lost until it warms up and is broken down.

Not sure if my comment was part of the bull but that was just my experience. I couldnt get mine on either and that was the recommendation that I got (leave it piled up just as it came out of the truck). It stunk for about 3 days. I probably lost the crusted over part but the rest was just like it was dumped. I thought by spring I'd have nothing left. When the guys came to spread it, it would gag you. It was awful. I think i made a good choice but you may know better (I've only used it once). Also, I couldnt even grow weeds where it was piled. Stuff must be pretty hot.
