SW “Ohia”
Schuerman Farms,

Buy a self service fuel dispensing “curb pump” hose from your local oil supplies jobber. Continental ContiTech brand is usually a good choice. Much better quality than the “farm grade” hoses like Aggie Gas. Also much more expensive.

While you’re there, buy a breakaway and a swivel. Putting a swivel on your nozzle will increase hose life and make it much easier to use. A breakaway will pay for itself in one use and save a lot of grief.

Nozzles from OPW and Husky are both good.

If you want to extend the service life of your pump, hoses, and nozzle, keep them covered when not in use. Throw an old mineral tub on top. Sunlight kills this stuff. Don’t let your hoses have any hard bends in them, that will shorten life too.
