MO | I don't know what that other guy is talking about the drive chains or deck plate issues either. I'm on my second season on my 516. I haven't done much to it mechanically. The end snouts can get bent when you hook them on something, but I can prove that with any color...lol. They are an awesome head. If you run one, you'll throw that 93 series deere head in a ditch where it belongs. Claas heads have a way heavier gathering chain, better gear boxes, better knife rolls, and knife rolls you can actually take off without any effort. Without a doubt, they are the best buy on the corn head market. I plan on replacing my 883 IH head that I run on my 2188 this winter with a 508 Lexion head.
