I believe the 2004-05 models have the 8.1l and the 2006-07 models have the 9.0l. Also, the 2006-07 models will have the round headlights on top of the cab and have the air scoop by the radiator instead of the louvers or the add-on air scoop. The 2006-07 model 60 series combines look almost identical to a 70 series.
