The neighbor who drove tractor discing corn stalks for us got in too poor health to do it the last few years. All spring tillage now. Our yields are still trending up just fine. Read Agtalk and see how fortunate you are to have crops off. Better yet call a neighbor and offer to help them.


Spring tillage for me here, discing and plowing some. I never seem to get the weather for fall tillage.. Some do fall tillage in the mud with their 4x4/mfwd tractors but I'm 2wd.


Folks that don’t live in the Lake effect areas would struggle to manage in it.
