I wonder how many people wish they had taken the few seconds to get off and apply a simple safety device rather than spending months recuperating and in the hospital or worse. Seems like an easy trade off to me.
If you have a 3pt forklift or an actual forklift, I fail to see how you will get hurt. Especially if you operate with care...
Now the death trap otherwise known as a skid steer, there are only 100 other ways to hurt yourself in one of them, whats one more way? People think nothing of moving brush with a skiddy, branch could come right in there with you. Just like a 4 wheel wagon tongue. Handy? yes, very much so. Safe piece of equipment? not really.
