Is this a auto pilot setup or is it a Ez steer?If it is giving that error, it typically means the steering wheel was moved or the engage/disengage button was pressed. Can try and adjust the override sensitivity. Also if you have an external switch or foot pedal to engage the system you can eliminate that to make sure there isn't a short or something with that.
