Fall of 1985 was making the trip to northeast Missouri to see my future wife. It was a wet fall here and there too. Made the turn north at Macon and somewhere along there was an 8820 with rear wheel assist cutting beans. That thing was blowing smoke like an L2 gleaner and I couldn't believe the good job of cutting he was doing and the tracks in the mud he was plowing. Was impressive to say the least.
