Just make sure you don't let your kids lean on the front window.  Some years ago a Michigan farmer's son died as a result of going through the front window of his combine.  If you think about it.... that's a lot of window area being held by not much.  

Hate to come across as a downer to your nice post, but I shudder every time I think what it must be like to lose a child to a farm accident.  And so I feel compelled to comment.

IIRC there was an incident here in KS not too long ago, same fate.

They may be cramped compared to something with a buddy seat, but that is one thing I like about our 1991 and older Gleaners, there is a metal plate along the bottom and two small plates up top that go over the rubber molding to ensure the window is not going anywhere. Spent many hours as a kid in there, how mom got two kids and her in the cab is beyond me...
