SW Wisconsin | Hard to say, but to my eye I’d guess she’s got some Jersey in her. Pretty fine and flat boned for beef, and that’s a pretty narrow face too. They might not bring the most at the sale barn, but they are delicious, so that may be some comfort to you.
Edited to add a picture of my cow that looks like that. This is Thankful. I think she’s about 3/4-7/8 jersey, the remainder is Holstein, Dutch Belted, or a mixture thereof. Born in April 2007, two of her daughters are currently milking with another due in next year. Her granddaughter has the highest genotype of any animal I’ve ever tested at 133 JPI.
