Not positive but quite likely. The GPS may have to be reconfigured to output the BAUD rate and messages that the PF can handle/requires. It needs 4800 BAUD with 8,N,1. NEMA messages GGA and VTG ON all other off. Most GPS receivers can be reconfigured - some more easily than others.
PF advantage ?
