I may be wrong but quick figuring shows they use an average of 3 lbs of barely per gallon of beer, 10 cents a pound would give you a barley cost of $.30 per gallon of beer. Please correct me if I am wrong. And as the anti ethonal people do, they probably forget the value of the DDG's as part of the formula.
HOw high would barley have to get before the input cost would double. Thinking about growning barley next year.
