We all hear about the importance of downloading your information from your gps mapping unit regularly so you don't lose information. Just a little reminder for all of you. 2008 was the first year I was able to tie yield data with gps. I have been mapping with my spraying and seeding but not the combine. When I purchased a newer combine last year I had it installed. It worked great!! Well, up until the day the combine started on fire and I lost everything--lunch box, cell phone and oh ya, my data card!!

Just a little reminder that it can happen to you and happen fast!
