North Central Iowa | Broke the "hitch" on a 1075 JD running gear getting it out of the mud yesterday. "Current" JD part # is AW24502. Looks like used on a 1075 running gear and the 700, 720, and 740 gear as well.
John Deere says its not available, a few of the on-line JD dealers say they have it for $1,000+. Didn't pay much more than that for the entire gear + gravity box on it. I have called around to several of the regional junk yards in the past looking for parts, they didn't seem to have in inventory running gears in general.
So, anyone know a place that parts out lots of running gears? I've sent a message Waterman's in Wis, however, they generally specialize in the 3 axle gear and its a different hitch for those, but we'll see.
