SE SD | I tried this and the map makes more sense. But it made the table of data worse...way worse.
This is a quarter with a zig-zagging creek on one side and I combined beans at an angle so the edges of the field had lots of little triangles.
Before simple analysis/swath width adjustment the yield average matched scale tickets and the yield numbers on the color legend made sense. But the map was full of false red blotches due to swath overlap.
After the simple analysis/swath width adjustment the map looked really good but the data in the legend was terrible. It increased the average yield to 10 bu/ac above actual yield and the yield ranges were ridiculously bad with top yields in the 14,000 bu/ac range. | |
