I like ice cream, but I don't like to weigh 250.  A treat once in a while is acceptable but I want something a little more often.

I discovered that Slim Fast chocolate royal ( I think there's more to the name) makes an okay alternative.  I take about a big cup of ice cubes and 8 ounces of cold water along with 2 measures of Slim Fast and put them in the blender.  Makes a lot of noise.  But the texture is more like ice cream and the taste is pretty good.  

I would prefer a real ice cream shake but this alternative fills me and stops the craving.  I think the texture helps a lot because you don't just drink it down as you would if it were just milk and Slim Fast.

edit:  plus the quantity is twice as much!
