Subject: Pro 600 endless boot Loop with 1+GB memory cards. WHY?

Kalona, IA

I have several full PCMCIA ATA memory cards from 1 to 32 MB in size. I cannot find any functions on the monitor to erase the cards. I have a Op. manual that doesn't cover anything about the memory card part of the monitor. Just all the other functions.

I bought several new Compact flash cards from 1-4 GB that I use an ATA Adapter with that I formatted on my computer to FAT 32. Also have a new full sized 1.2 GB PCMCIA ATA 68 pin card.

When trying to use these new large capacity  Compact cards the monitor goes into and endless loop of rebooting except for the 1.2 GB 68 pin ATA card it will boot up but NOT recognize that a card is inserted. Why?

I'm Sorry if my question is redundant and earlier answers have helped, but if nothing else, I'd like to erase the data off my smaller capacity working 68 pin ATA cards. How do I do it with the monitor and without a computer?

 Thanks for any help!
