Subject: Guidance width settings for 7120 combine with pro 700

Paxton, IL
I just traded to a 7120 combine with a 35’ macdon Draper head. I will be running guidance with this setup and I’m trying to think through how to set it up in the pro 700. This will be my first experience with guidance on a combine and I have limited experience with guidance on a pro600/700.

I’ll be running on rangepoint RTX so I’m thinking I’ll put in a 33.5’ or 34’ cut width for the 35’ head depending on how accurate I find the rangepoint signal to be. That should give me a comfortable overlap.

But then I get to thinking about how the monitor will handle opening up a field, or laying out a new land when you’re actually cutting a full 35’ swath? Would the auto cut width take care of that or is it limited by the same cut width setting?
