SE Arkansas | This set up reminds me of Cotton last year. The crop was still large even after hurricane losses in Georgia and Texas. The price bottomed at 67 cents at harvest and went straight up from there. Demand made this happen reducing World and Domestic supplies. So the USDA export number is relying on strong demand as a result of tight World Supplies which features a massive 1.5 Billion Bushel growth in demand. I sure hope Corn Sales and Inspections pick up soon to confirm the export estimate!
