Manitoba, Canada | The way I understand the situation neither the OP nor the new renter was farming the land before.
To me it sounds like the landlords both had buddies that they wanted to rent to but they didn’t want the hard feelings that can develop from negotiating prices with friends so they let the OP set the price for them. If that were the case there should be no hard feelings towards the OP. The OP would be the one getting used and put on an emotional rollercoaster for nothing. That sucks.
For two similar deals to happen so close together I would also have to wonder if the second landlord got the idea from the first at the coffee shop. | |
