Belleville, Ontario | There is some higher disease risk with this program, but I can't blame you for taking the risk with the price of wheat. Assess your stand in the early spring and use a fungicide early if the disease risks are there (damp weather, dense crop, disease package with the variety, etc.
The bottom line is that it is not common practice because the risks increase.
