2 or 3 F-16's from the Colorado National Guard "visit" the Grand Junction airport almost every weekend. Fly down the valley when they take off, and yeah they are loud. I think they hit the afterburners about the time they are over Fruita...interesting thing is, they do not show up on Flightradar24.
