Drove from Jamestown ND to Grand Forks ND yesterday. I was surprised at how poor the soybeans and some corn looked, compared to last week when all still looked nice and green. Beans are very dry, turning yellow/brown with curling leaves. Corn burning up from bottom up 2-3 feet. A potentially above average bean yields are too far gone now for even a rain to help, IMHO. Will be interesting to see next weeks G/E ratings.
