NC Indiana | There are several companies that still offer big gun traveler and I think there's still one that makes drag hose travelers. We still have 3 drag (soft) hose machines and 1 hard hose machine. We've been selling them off and replacing them with pivots, but we do have a few odd fields that the cost of a pivot doesn't make sense to install. They're like milking cows though, if you're dry you're moving them twice a day and trying to put on 2 inches of water to equate to 1/2 an inch of real rainfall. Moving supply line pipe in the middle of the night in the summer in standing corn can be a blast too (not). | |
