Have most of the lithium makita lineup, and some of the newer milwaukee fuels.  I think the makitas have a better fit and finish, they fit in your hand perfectly and have been tough as nails, some of the original impacts and drills are close to 10 years old and used hard.
The newer milwaukee fuel stuff has a little more power then makita offerings in 3/8 and 1/2" impacts, but thats with new batteries too.  I don't like the feel of them as well, and I doubt they will last as long, seems plenty of people have trouble with them.
