Apex only assigns colors if they are in .25 increments. Some companies create their maps with rates like 142.34 or 146.71 and this will not work. Apex will assign colors to the even number and .25 increments like 142.25 148.5. Every other rate other than this in the field will show up gray. If you are having your maps built be sure to tell them to assign rates with no less than .25 increments.
