Mount Vernon, WA | What you say makes no sense. In addition to the fuel shutoff solenoid, the only thing the ECU can do is vary the engine fueling as a group of 6 via the control rack. There is no way that it can cut out or vary the individual amount of fuel to various cylinders.
When you say that the engine runs rough, does it sound like it's misfiring, or is it simply hunting (RPM oscillation)? If it's hunting, then that could very well be related to the computer if it's struggling to find a steady RPM. | |
