Seems to me the leases work great mostly for the dealer. Usually the lease payments are close to purchase price, then you get to pay the end of lease price if you want to buy it. Dealer turned out great. Got more money out of a machine you couldn't afford so you got lower payments and are making payments on it for 8 to 10 years. Not always the case, but anytime I run the numbers on a lease, this is how it looks. And at the end of the lease, you realize you have nothing, so you will probably buy it as the residual amount is affordable and can spread it out over another 5 years. Most also seem to want you to be responsible for repairs, so it's like you own it anyway. Like the guy above posted, 0% lease. What the world is that? Just a repackaged deal to get money into the dealers hands.
