NE Iowa | So my 9760 needs new straw chopper hammers. JD, A&I, Shoup, or Redekop?
Should I plan on replacing all hardware (bolts, bushings, etc.) regardless of which brand I go with? Shoup (even with new hardware) looks cheapest. JD (on sale right now) and A&I are similar price, but that is for hammers only. Redekop a little more than JD/A&I, but that includes new hardware.
Seems some folks have had good luck with Redekop and some have not. I probably wouldn't go with A&I if JD parts can be had for similar money. Pretty big deal if one of these hammers break, so doubt I will take the risk of Shoup parts. | |
