Southern MN | I had a field like that last year. They went 62 bu an acre. I put fungicide on twice, right after they started to regrow and then when I did an aphid spray. They were breaking over bad in the fall from the stem bruising. I harvested them first, did most of the 80 going crossways to pick them up and get them in the combine. They tested 15% so I did get some dock. It rained for a week the day after I got done. If I would have left them I think they would have went flat and I would have likely yielded closer to 30.
My other fields averaged 11 bu better.
