Subject: RE: External 4XX Mhz radio for a Paradyme Autosteer

Cedar Rapids, Iowa
The internal 450 MHz radio in a Paradyme is a Satel. For my customers that want to use a NovAtel base with Paradyme rovers, we put a 35 watt Satel EASy at the base. If they have any other rovers that want to use that base, we use a stand alone Satel radio. The little 1 watt Satel radio with display and magnet mount antenna is approximately $1500 new. It has a DB-15 connector on the bottom that you use to provide power and get the data from the radio to the receiver.

If you have any existing radios, or the make/model of your base can have some influence on what brand of radio you want to buy.

Full disclosure: Am Satel dealer.
