Well, let’s look at a percentage type scenario.

6/350 = .017 error i’d Say that’s pretty good margin of error in anybodies industry.

Dollar wise.....he’s in South Dakota it appears, so let’s say every job is a quarter, I averaged the cost of all my passes it ends up being right around $14 for chemicals+app. Let’s say $6.50. So $14+$6.50 =$20.50 total average per pass.

So if we go 6 incidents x 160 acres gives a total of 960 x$20.50=$19,680, so you are right that’s not really chump change, but if we continue the averages through to the total of $1,128,000, on the rest of the correct jobs that have come through, it seems kinda paltry.

But pesticide application is a kinda low margin business so I do understand the importance of getting paid, just pointing out that I haven’t run across anything really error free. And in this instance it is almost assuredly applicator error for not checking at the end of the day if all files have transferred successfully or not.
