Depends on how the cow/horse ratio guys n how cowy your horses are. We've put one cow in with horses a couple times n one time horses chased cow over the fence n another time was one horse n one cow. Cow finally jumped in water tank to get away from horse. These weren't in big pastures tho just corral pens. If in big enough pasture would probably be ok.
