Subject: Division of Farm & assets

Story to think about , family of 2 children

Child A never had interest in farming, grew up moved away lived their life and occasionally come around.

Child B had interest in farming and grew up working on farm, college education, work public job for many years, then come back to farm due to parent health matters and verbal agreement on what specific parts of farm and assets would be theirs when inheritance was passed down. Has worked on farm and has a big heart and been devoted primary care giver for 12 years to disabled parent. No salary paid just room , board and general /small miscellaneous expenses

Since disabled parent has passed away child A and their family has been coming around more and more. However child A has always lived about 1 hour away traveling distance but rarely saw them come through the years. Child B did everything for parents

Wondering where this is headed ?

How should division of farm and assets be done to be fair when child B was devoted and faithful caregiver through the years on verbal agreement and child A rarely did anything. ?
